Purchased this as a replacement for the Fisher-Cost Sounds 'N Lights Dual Receiver Monitor M5578 which was horrible because of static and poor sound sensitivity.

1. Especially sensitive. There is a sensitivity control on the back of the base station which functions good. You can even hear the children breathing or whispering. The Fisher-Cost would only operate if my kid was screaming.

2. NO static or interference. Lastly, a monitor that does not choose up stray radio programs or endless clicking and static. There can be a slight buzz if it's looking for a new channel but that's it. The Fisher-Value would buzz when trucks drove by or airplanes flew overhead, but this monitor does not do that.

three. Has numerous channels to pick from to give you the clearest signal. Fantastic if your neighbors have the very same monitor so you do not listen to every other.
